When Pitzer alumnus Steven Leskin '84 was in high school, he had an opportunity to meet and get to know a small group of alumni. They inspired him to look into attending Pitzer, which changed his life.
"They helped put me on another path," said Steven, who majored in philosophy. "Pitzer definitely got me into a better spot than I was in."
What meant most to Steven during his time at Pitzer were the warm and positive relationships he developed with faculty and staff. He continues to remember these supportive friendships with fondness and appreciation. Now an attorney in private practice, he is confident that Pitzer's "solid, broad education" helped him in his career, he said. As a way to give back, Steven made a gift in his will to support Pitzer College.
"I began thinking about how I could show my gratitude and appreciation to the institutions that impacted my life, and Pitzer was certainly one of them."
